Titan Gladiator Registration and Qualifying Specifics

Online Registration & Try-out Time Selection:
15 minute intervals for team qualifiers on:
Monday 10/13/08 from 5-8 p.m.
Tuesday 10/14/08 from 5-8 p.m.
The first 16 ‘qualified’ teams to register will participate in the qualifiers on one of the two dates listed above.
Team Requirements:
Each team must consist of 4 team members of which at least two must be female. Each team member must be a currently enrolled student, who is at least 18 years of age, at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. All students must register with their name and ID # to ensure that they are currently enrolled and meet the minimum GPA requirement of 2.0. This GPA requirement is to ensure that all students participating are not on academic probation or suspension. All first semester freshmen are exempt from the GPA requirement.
Each participant will be required to sign a waiver BEFORE tryouts. Any participant who does not bring a completed waiver to tryouts will force an automatic disqualification for their team. Blank waivers will be available at the tryouts.
Once the teams have been chosen they will be allowed to choose their team identity provided that it is not vulgar, contains sexual innuendoes or references drug or alcohol paraphernalia
Gladiator Requirements & Recruitment:
We would like to attend a coaches meeting to discuss with the coaches the possibility of their student athletes participating in Titan Gladiators as Gladiators. The preferred gladiator requirements at this time are that they have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. This GPA requirement is to ensure that all students participating are not on academic probation or suspension. The Gladiator Team will consist of 6 females and 6 males that will be at least 18 years old, be student athletes and sign a participation waiver.
Once the gladiators have been chosen they will be allowed to choose their gladiator identity provided that it is not vulgar, contains sexual innuendoes or references drug or alcohol paraphernalia.
